Lisa and I just wrapped up a weeklong “Nana and Papo Camp” with our two grandchildren. We share very briefly some of what we did, but even more, how watching each other serve our grandchildren builds respect and appreciation for each other. A marriage can’t survive for over forty years on romantic idealism alone. We talk a bit about the concept of “business buddies” (from my book The Sacred Search), and how to grow a marriage by focusing on many aspects of intimacy building at the same time.
