J.I. Packer once wrote, “A half-truth masquerading as a whole truth becomes a complete untruth.” And that’s what we see with the message of a self-centered salvation today. Unfortunately, this message has permeated the church today. I address this in an entire chapter in my most recent book The Life You Were Reborn to Live, and was encouraged to see my friend, Bob Lepine, address this on his Substack (Bob Lepine, Ear Reverent) as well.
