Now that we’re empty nesters, Lisa and I watch a little more television in the evenings than we used to. We like to go through series. Some of our favorites have been Friday Night Lights (the series, not the movie). More than this series is about high school football in Texas, it’s about the story of a marriage. When Coach Taylor forgets to tell his wife that the team has an annual potluck at the coach’s house (with families and fellow coaches showing up), their fight under the dining room table is about the funniest and most insightful scene on marriage we’ve ever witnessed!
We enjoyed 1883, and were amazed it was taking place at the same time as The Gilded Age. Our favorite reality series is The Amazing Race.
But what if, say twice a month for a year, you could put aside Netflix or Prime Video and build your marriage in the evening?
